A Run with Purpose
The streets of Sta. Cruz, Laguna came alive last October 4, 2025 as dedicated runners gather for “Takbo Kontra Polio”, all lacing up their running shoes to take part in the global fight to End Polio Now.
More than just a fun run, this event symbolized hope, unity, and action against a disease that still threatens vulnerable communities around the world.
United for a Cause
Blazer Fire Extinguisher stood shoulder to shoulder with local volunteers, runners, and community leaders, supporting the event's advocacy and promoting health, wellness, and social responsibility.
This impactful initiative was made possible through the dedication and hard work of the hosting clubs:
Rotaract Club of Sta. Cruz Pioneer
Rotaract Club of Cavinti
Rotaract Club of Pagsanjan
Their collaboration ensured a safe, spirited, and successful event that left a lasting impact.

With every stride taken, participants helped raise awareness and support Rotary International’s mission to eliminate polio for good.
From Blazer Fire Extinguisher:
“We believe in supporting causes that create real change. Joining Takbo Kontra Polio is part of our ongoing commitment to community safety, health, and empowerment. It’s an honor to run alongside advocates who are making a positive difference, one step at a time.”
